Chippie employees get new corporate clothing

Wed, 28 May 2008 16:35

Office workers at Chippie have got new corporate clothing again because the general manager felt it reflected the development of the service they were offering.

St Kitts and Nevis company staff donned their new corporate clothing for the first time during a scheduled visit by representatives from one of its parent companies, SKNVibes reported.

Chippie, the brand name of the Global System for Mobile Communications services from United Telecoms Services (UTS), was set up two years ago and general manager Alfred Harley said it was time again to upgrade the staff look.

"We at Chippie feel it is very important to continue to educate our customers about the services we offer," he said.

"I think that when someone is able to identify a member of staff, it is a sign of prestige for that staffer and helps with the image of the company."

He went on to say that staff had also undergone commercial training and UTS was keen on education for its employees.
