Some 1,600 visitors were in attendance at the first Workwear and Corporate Clothing show, fibre2fashion.com reported this week.
The show - which is thought to be the only exhibition focused on senior designers, buyers and suppliers - took place last month at the Birmingham NEC and was attended by the head of uniforms from airline carrier Virgin Atlantic, among other industry representatives.
Some 60 stands were set up at the event, which also featured fashion shows exhibiting the latest trends in workwear.
Lorne Cheetham, joint managing director of the Corporate Clothes Show, said the strong attendance at the show highlights that it has addressed a need in the corporate clothing marketplace.
"We have proved there is a real need for an inspirational event for fashionable, image-conscious buyers of uniforms and workwear clothing," he said.
Citing the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, the Keystone Group has previously asserted that the UK's corporate clothing market is currently worth £446 million.
