A school in Tonbridge has donated old items of workwear to a charity which helps children in the Balkans.
The Hugh Christie Technology College was recently refurbished as part of a major rebranding exercise.
This included the introduction of a new logo and school workwear, which has left the old uniforms redundant.
John Drinkwater, school business manager, told the Kent and Sussex Courier: "With the opening of Hugh Christie and the re-branding of the school, we introduced a new uniform and so had old uniform stock left over."
"We knew we had to find a worthy home for the leftover stock," he added.
After searching for a year, Mr Drinkwater found the Balkan Aid Relief Foundation (BARF) which agreed to take the old stock.
Around 28 bags of workwear, which bear the old White Cottage Road college logo, will now head out to Bosnia next month to be used by children in the Balkans.
Founded in 1998, BARF is a volunteer collective of Land Rover enthusiasts who deliver aid and equipment to help children in Bosnia Herzegovina.
