Firefighters create printed clothes to support a US soldier

Consilium clothing - experts in screen printed clothing

A firemen's union in the US has created a range of screen printed clothing to show their support for a colleague serving in Iraq.

The Firemen's Mutual Benevolent Association (FMBA) Local No 52 has created the printed t-shirts to support 21-year-old John Fallick Jr who is serving in the US Navy Riverine Squadron 1.

As a former member of the Rosenhayn Volunteer Fire and Rescue Co, Mr Fallick started his second six-month tour in Iraq last November.

The printed t-shirts feature the FMBA local No52 patch on the front and the following message on the back: "New Jersey FMBA Firefighters Support Operation Iraqi Freedom - Bridgeton FMBA Local 52 Supports Riverine Squadron 1 United States Navy."

Bridgeton Firefighter Anthony Brago told the Star Ledger that Mr Fallick "knows a lot of the guys in our local".

"A lot of the guys know him," Mr Brago added. "He's a local guy. We're proud of him."

The items of printed clothes are priced at $15 (£10.30) and for each one sold, the FMBA will send two printed t-shirts to Riverine Squadron 1.
